A Silver Lining

It all looks pretty miserable for Muslims in the Middle East at the moment. With 23 Palestinians, including a 75 year old women and children as young as 8 months, being slaughtered
in a single day, one may get very dejected. When one sees the UN unable to even pass a resolution condemning Israel's murder of four of its own observors, one wonders what on earth can we do about this.

But while our brothers and sisters die, let us remember that they too are losing casualties every day. Our brothers in Hezbollah continue to wait patiently for the enemy to arrive, waiting in earnest to send them to the Hellfire. As the Prophet(pbuh) told Umar (ra) to say at the Battle of Uhud, Our dead are in Jannah, your dead are in Jahannum.

In addition, Hamas continues to inflict numerous casualties on the Israeli Occupation Forces.

Let us not forget that Hezbollah has now developed and is already firing deeper into Israel the new Khaybar 1 missiles.

And with our brothers in AQ ready to join the battle, things are looking up.

If we want to do something from the safety of our laptops, it is no harm checking out the following.

From a real friend:

The following letter was sent by Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Peace activists, however, can apply this to our own purposes. Just
follow the directions, and then use it to express your own views. I tried
it, and it works beautifully.

Dear friends,

Many of us recognize the importance of the Internet as the new
battleground for Israel's image. It's time to do it better, and coordinate our
on-line efforts on behalf of Israel. An Israeli software company have
developed a free, safe and useful tool for us - the Internet Megaphone.

Please go to www.giyus.org, download the
Megaphone, and you will receive daily updates with instant links to important
internet polls, problematic articles that require a talk back, etc.

We need 100,000 Megaphone users to make a difference. So, please
distribute this mail to all Israel's supporters.

Do it now. For Israel.

Director
Public Affairs (Hasbara) Department
