niqab ban

I was walking to college today, a few paces behind a Muslim sister in niqab. Suddenly a women rushes up to her and a flurry of words are exchanged. A man rushes into the fray.

Then i saw a camera....they wanted an interview. She had no time for that and went about her own business.

I guess this explains it...
Daily Mail

I hope this doesn't sound like a rant but...

It is upsetting to see Muslims refusing to support each other just because the other adheres to a different opinion on a particular issue. There are many scholars who say wearing the niqab is a valid opinion based on the evidences. Therefore we should respect this opinion as an acceptable difference between the Muslims, just like the Madhabs.

If we cant help our and brothers and sisters, isn't is better to stay silent rather than to actively hinder their efforts just to win a few brownie points from the Non-Muslims.

Ameen,

Jazakallah for your comments.

Yes i have read that the sister, has had three siblings attend that school, all in niqab, none of whom had any problems.

Its just with this new head master that there is an 'interaction problem'

I know a solution...get rid of the male teachers!!

Ameen to your Duas
