Bengali Terrorists: Something Fishy or just another Red Herring?
Just over a week ago, it was blogged on this site that it took over 50 police officer'to remove peace activist Brian Haw's placards in a midnight raid on his vigil. The following day, it was also blogged that over 500 police officers were deployed nationwide to arrest 9 men in pre-dawn raids. And now yesterday, it took 250 police officers, many armed, and MI5 officers to conduct a raid at 4am to arrest 2 men. These 2 men were such a threat to these 250 plus armed men that they found it necessary to even shoot one of them.
Already the media trial and the scaremongering has begun ... chemical vest ... suicide attack ... anniversary of 7/7 ... an attack during an England game in the World Cup ...
Wait for Bruce Willis to make a statement disassociating his Die Hard vest from the said chemical vest. Wait for these brothers to be suddenly linked to Iran, similar to how the ricin that never existed was linked to Iraq prior to the invasion. Wait for the microscopic attention on the hitherto peaceful Bengali community ... "He used to be such a quiet boy, just going about his daily routine catching fish and eating rice, but then he started growing his beard, wearing long clothing and eating roti".
Dimple Harani, a 21 year old neighbour, must be delighted with her new-found fame after making the following ridiculous statement to the media:
"After 9/11 they started growing long beards and wearing the Muslim hat. Sometimes they wore traditional clothes"
There is doubt as to whether there were actually chemicals stored in the house and rumurs abound that it was just 3 day old fish masala. But one thing is for sure, for all Muslims, Bengali or other, we need to see how things have degressed in Britain. In December 2003, 6 coppers beat the hell out of Babar Ahmad when they arrested him. In June 2006, 250 coppers shot Abul Kahar in a similar pre-dawn raid. It seems Allah may bless the next brother they arrest with shahaada.
(Stereotypical statements about Bengalis in this blog are not malicious and should be taken lightly. The Ummah is one Ummah and I love Bengali Muslims just as I love all other Muslims. Please do not take offence - if you have taken offence, please forgive me)

Speaking at the police cordon, a woman in her 50s, who has lived in Lansdown Road for more than 25 years, said a family lived at the address at the centre of the raid.
She said the family consisted of a man, a woman and their four teenage children, two girls and two boys.
She added:
"They [the family] were respectable and nice people, and we do not know anything else," she said. "They have always been nice to us. They have lived there for a long time. The kids all go to school locally."
