When Jews behave like Nazis, they become Nazis

When Jews behave like Nazis, they become Nazis
By Khalid Amayreh
Jul 30, 2006

On 23 March, 1944, 33 German soldiers were killed when members of an Italian resistance group set off a bomb close to a column of German troops who were marching on via Rasella. Adolph Hitler got furious and ordered that within 24 hours, ten Italians were to be shot for each dead German. Herbert Kappler, the local German commander, quickly compiled a list of 320 civilians who were to be killed. On 24 March, the victims were transported to Adreatine caves where they were summarily executed by the SS.

Numerous similar “pacification operations” were carried out by the Nazi armies against civilians throughout Nazi-occupied Europe, where men, women and children were brutally killed to avenge the death of German soldiers by local resistance fighters.

Qana Bleeds Again

18 April 1996

In the 8th day of Israeli aggression against Lebanon, over 105 civilians were massacred after Israeli artillery pounded a UNIFIL warehouse packed with refugees. The hundreds of men, women and children were seeking shelter from Israeli bombardment with the U.N. in the village of Qana.

30 July 2006

In the 19th day of Israeli aggression against Lebanon, over 65 civilians, including 38 children below the age of 12, were massacred after an Israeli air strike on a residential site. The men, women and children who were slaughtered were seeking shelter from Israeli bombardment.

Israel claims it warned civilians in advance to leave - Jim Muir from BBC reported that previous warnings resulted in refugees being slaughtered as the roads and bridges they were escaping on were bombed by Israel. In addition, with petrol stations having being bombed, many did not have the fuel to escape.

Tony Blair and George Bush contineu to give Israel the green light for more Lebanese to be annihilated. When the next 7-7 or 9-11 happens, don't come to the Muslim community demanding condemnation and apologies. Why do you believe your children are more sacred than ours?

A Silver Lining

It all looks pretty miserable for Muslims in the Middle East at the moment. With 23 Palestinians, including a 75 year old women and children as young as 8 months, being slaughtered
in a single day, one may get very dejected. When one sees the UN unable to even pass a resolution condemning Israel's murder of four of its own observors, one wonders what on earth can we do about this.

But while our brothers and sisters die, let us remember that they too are losing casualties every day. Our brothers in Hezbollah continue to wait patiently for the enemy to arrive, waiting in earnest to send them to the Hellfire. As the Prophet(pbuh) told Umar (ra) to say at the Battle of Uhud, Our dead are in Jannah, your dead are in Jahannum.

In addition, Hamas continues to inflict numerous casualties on the Israeli Occupation Forces.

Let us not forget that Hezbollah has now developed and is already firing deeper into Israel the new Khaybar 1 missiles.

And with our brothers in AQ ready to join the battle, things are looking up.

If we want to do something from the safety of our laptops, it is no harm checking out the following.

From a real friend:

Israel-Hezbollah Battle outside Syrian Embassy

It has been a while since I have blogged and I shall put that down to the heat and Israel's continuing rape and bombardment of Lebanon and Palestine: just where do you start to write, every day another Israeli atrocity, every day another Hezbollah victory, every day more and more hypocracy.

For example today, the Zionists decided to hold a protest outside the Syrian embassy in London against Syria's alleged aid to Hezbollah. As could only be expected, a counter-demonstration was organised by the Lebanese Welfare Community and the Islamic Human Rights Commission. A very intense and very enjoyable day ruined by the hypocracy of the MET police in their dealings with the two factions. One was protected and encouraged, the other hounded and harassed. A mini-apartheid wall was even erected so that each side could not see the other. The Zionists on one side, the Muslims and Jewish Rabbis from the Neturei Karta on the other united under the yellow and green Hezbollah flag.

The sides were evenly matched numerically with about 50 on each side although as the time passed, the Hezbollah side was reduced dramatically by the departure of the Rabbis from the Neturei Karta and the Lebanese community. But the 10 Hezbollah supporters drowned out the other side with significant ease proving that it is quality, not quantity, that matters.

Among my favourite chants from the demo were

(To the tune of "Twelve Green Bottles")
"There's a bunch of dirty Zionists standing behind the wall
A bunch of dirty Zionists standing behind the wall
But if one Hezbollah rocket were to accidentally fall
There would be no more dirty Zionists standing behind the wall"

"La illaha ill Allah, We are all Hezbollah"

"With blood, with guns, we'll free Lebanon"

although equating Zionism with Nazism drew warning from the police in case it offended someone ... shocking!!!

On a sadder note, a friend of mine was detained and interrogated by the police for over 40 minutes for simply taking a few pictures of the Zionist demonstrators. He was asked all about his work, university and other personal information. His phone was looked through and he was asked about his friends. All for taking a few pics with a camera-phone. Zionist photographers who came right up to the Muslim demonstrators and took pictures with professional cameras were tolerated by the police despite complaints by demonstrators. A worrying outcome from this is that this brother, who previously held a somewhat positive view of Britain and Britishness, now feels like a foreigner in his own country, where he was born, his mother was born, and his grandmother was born. Good ol cops - sure know how to stop extremism.

Free Talha Ahsan

More news about Talha Ahsan, the 3rd British Muslim to be arrested under the Extradition Treaty 2003, and how to help. Received this email yesterday.

Syed Talha Ahsan was arrested under the ExtraditionAct 2003 two days ago (Wed 19th July). This brother masha-Allah was a role model to our youth. He was aregular at Tooting Islamic Centre Masjid and wellknown to most of the community. His parents are elderly and are completely devastated. His friends and siblings are already feeling the emptiness of his absence.

He has now been kidnapped by the British Authorites on the request of the United States under the same Treaty that is shipping BabarAhmad to the U.S. Talha has not been charged with anything in this country, nor have the U.S provided any details of any evidence (probably because they aretoo busy trying to make something up in the interim). Talha and his family need our utmost support at this testing time.

Yesterday it was Babar, today it isTalha, tomorrow (Allah forbid) it could be one of you.Talha and Babar are denied the chance to see or challenge any evidence against them in a British Court of Law. They risk being put in Guantanamo Bay and even being tortured. You can all earn a bit of reward this weekend byhelping Talha. The first few days in prison are the hardest and most stressful for the family and the prisoner. Please could everyone write to Talha and post it by first class post by MONDAY morning. Even if it is a few lines or a card or a picture drawn by your kids. Even if it a few verses from the Quran or a hadith reminder. Tell him he is not forgotten, tell him you are praying for him, tell him Allah will look after him and his family. His address is

Everyone is now very familiar with this infamous picture of Israeli girls writing messages in Hebrew on shells ready to be fired into Lebanon.

Emily Litella sums up the entire hypocracy of the Western coverage of the conflict below.

"Your heart just has to break to see these Shiite children in Lebanon smiling and writing “messages” on the rockets that soon will devastate Israeli homes. What kind of sick society produces little girls who exult in the infliction of pain against people they’ve never met?
And look at the woman in the background, presumably their mother—clearly she approves! Sadly, until the Arabs let go of their culture of incitement and rage, I’m afraid there’s no concession Israel can ever make that will bring peace with these people.

What’s that? Those aren’t Lebanese girls writing on Hezbollah rockets, but Israeli girls writing on Israeli shells? Oh ... Never mind."

TV war correspondents rescued from angry mob by Hizbullah

Lee Glendinning

Friday July 21, 2006The Guardian

Two British journalists were recovering in Beirut last night after being attacked by a mob which surrounded their car for almost an hour, smashing windows and trying to force them out.
The journalists from GMTV, and their Lebanese interpreter and driver were rescued when two men thought to be Hizbullah officials pushed through the crowd, grabbed them and drove them to a safe house, television colleagues said.

GMTV's roaming correspondent Richard Gaisford and producer Dave Mason were driving back to their hotel after reporting in western Beirut when a crowd began to follow them. "Richard said he had been surrounded in the car with the windows smashed and the keys taken," a television colleague said. Mr Gaisford had said he had feared for his life.

The Hizbullah officials took them to a safe house where they were interrogated before the police were called.
They received a personal apology from the Lebanese prime minister, Fouad Siniora, which was interrupted when a phone call came through from Kofi Annan.

Third British Muslim Facing Extradition to US

Just over a month ago, I posted a worrying article on the Extradition Treaty 2003 by Babar Ahmad, the first British Muslim who could be sent to the US under this law. The article was set in two years in the future indicating what could happen if Muslims didn't wake up.

Just one month on, a third British Muslim has been arrested under the Extradition Treaty. This morning, Syed Talha Ahsan (26) was arrested at his home on charges that he helped run terrorism fundraising Web sites, set up terrorists with temporary housing in England and possessed a classified U.S. Navy document revealing troop movements. He is being charged in the same case as Babar Ahmad. He joins Ahmad and Harun Aswat in prison awaiting extradition with no bail.

The prosecutors allege that from 1998 to 2002, Ahsan and Ahmad used websites encouraging people to donate money or equipment to mujahideen groups in Chechnya and Afghanistan. Ahsan himself is accused of helping "terrorists" find temporary residence in London and shuttle them into Afghanistan and Chechnya to participate in jihad.

Now at a cursory glance, what is so bad about what these brothers are alleged to have done? Lets take it that they are guilty of these accusations, what threat were they to the British public, the British government or any civilians whatsoever? People fighting brutal oppression were aided to fight back to avoid extermination.

Once again, this stems from the underlying problem that Muslims, by refusing to discuss the legitimacy of violent jihad as a means of survival, have indirectly allowed such acts to be criminalised as the actions of an "extremist minority." It is time for Muslims to stand up in solidarity with these brothers, to raise these issues about jihad into the public forum and discuss them with intelligence - show that we do condmen terrorism but that we glorify jihad. Until then, we may as well get in line for that seven hour flight.

Candlelit Vigil Rages out of Control

Have just come back from what was probably the best demo I have been to in a long time. I had no intention to go but was just coming back from another meeting and passed by it. I was immediately prejudiced against it because it was organised by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, which campaigns for a 2-state solution, ie are happy to allow Zionists to hold on to 78% of the stolen land. PSC are generally very pc and the chants are very lefty - they even condemn chants such as "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free" as anti-Semitic. So wasnt I shocked when I walked by what was alegedly a "candlelit vigil" to "make Margaret Beckett see the light", and saw a loud and angry Lebanese mob of about 300 shouting "Death to Israel"

I crossed the road to join in.

There was a real buzz about the demo with men, women and children all chanting in unison, everything ranging from "Peace in Lebanon" to "Down Down Israel" to "Ya Nasrullahai, ya Habibi, Fahshe Fahshe Tel Avivi" ("Oh Nasrullah, Oh My Dear One, Bomb Bomb Tel Aviv"). My personal favourite could also be heard - it had been a long time since I heard this one at a demo and it filled my heart with glee.

"Khayber Khayber ya Yahood, Jash Muhammad Sawfa 'Aoud" ("Oh Jews, Remember Khayber, the Army of Muhammad will return")

Israeli flags and other such things were set alight under the glow of Big Ben making a very picturesque sight. The poor PSC members must have never thought that their candles would be used in such a manner.

To top it all off there was an amazing spontaneous sit down on the road which completely blocked all traffic. No less than 8 police vans and 3 squad cars full of officers arrived to clean up the scene. Unfortunately, some brothers got a bit scared and began doing the cops job for them pushing everyone back and making a human barrier to stop people getting on the road. Some broke through and were dragged off by the cops. But the vast majority of people there were more than willing to be arrested for their beliefs but alas it was not to be.

It did give me hope that people will challenge these glorification laws now to show how ridiculous they are. As for PSC, they just dont know what hit them.

Roll on Saturday.

Lebanese Opinion

"..Some of the Christian radio stations have begun broadcasting patriotic songs and things like that, which suggests really that the mood is swinging very much against israel rather than Hizbullah...."

Guardian Audio Report from Beirut

Our Dead are in Jannah, Their Dead are in the Hellfire

Alhumdulillah, nine Israelis were killed and 30 others injured when a volley of Katyusha rockets slammed into the coastal city of Haifa, occupied since 1948, fired by the Lebanese Hizbullah party in reprisal to Israeli indiscriminate raids on civilian and infrastructural targets in Lebanon.

The words of General Secretary of Hizballah, Hassan Nasrallah from 14 July 2006 are telling.

"The equation has now changed. I will not say today that if you strike Beirut, we will strike Haifa. I will not tell you that if you hit the south Beirut suburbs, we will hit Haifa. You wanted to get rid of that equation, so now we and you have got rid of it in actuality. You wanted open warfare, and we are going into open warfare. We are ready for it, a war on every level. To Haifa, and, believe me, to beyond Haifa, and to beyond beyond Haifa. Not only we will be paying a price. Not only our houses will be destroyed. Not only our children will be killed. Not only our people will be displaced. Those days are past. That was how it was before 1982, and before the year 2000."

Meanwhile Ilan Pappe has written an excellent piece on the real motivations behind Israel's invasion of Lebanon and its need for a high-intensity conflict.

Sheikh Abdul-Halim: the Sign of Allah

Subhan'Allah, Daymohk news website has published a picture of murdered Chechen president Sheikh Abdul-Halim Sadullayev. On the picture the baked blood in the form of Arabian letters of a name of Supreme - the word of Almighty Allah is sharply sealed!

This picture was taken right away after the Russians had found the body of the Sheikh after the gun battle in the town of Argun ended.

The picture is really amazing, because it shows the quiet and peaceful face of the Chechen leader who has become a Shaheed (Insha Allah). But most amazing of all is the fact that on the hand of Sheikh Abdul-Halim there is a name of Allah - an unconditional sign that the Amir of Mujahideen has been rewarded by the Supreme properly for his shahaada.

The Eagle of the Caucasus

The Eagle of the Caucasus

Excerpt from a tribute to Shamil Basayev by a scholar who supports the mujahideen

"The power of this religion is not imprisoned in a body, for it is a spiritual force that moves from body to body and person to person, for there was Dudayev, and then Khattab, then Abu Walid, then Shamil, and there will be others who will come to carry the banner after them. Their power will be focused in one man who will be even more ferocious and deadlier to his enemies using their experiences and abilities, so let the Russians have their little joy, for they will cry much.."

- Hussein bin Mahmoud

The Right to Attack Israel

A friend of mine recently came up with the folowing two reasons why it is justifiable under international law for Israel to be attacked. A very simplified explanation of how international law could be used if there was any such things as consistency and justice in the world today.

I. Collective Self-Defence

- The Lebanese government requested the Security Council to intervene.
- There was an armed attack on Lebanon as understood under Art.2(4) UN Charter.
- This armed attack gives a right for Lebanon to act in self-defence under Art.51 UN Charter and customary international law.
- Lebanon can call other states or regional security organisations for collective self-defence.
- This right remains with Lebanon and other member states as long as the SC remains inactive.
- Once the SC takes action this right is then suspended. However t he SC has rejected Lebanon's call for assistance from the SC.
- If any state decided to follow Lebanon's call and to act in collective self-defence then they could do so.

Therefore, if Iran or Syria strike Israel or assist Hizbullah then they are doing this in concordance with international law.

II. Humanitarian Intervention

- Israel is killing the Palestinian people to which it has a duty of care towards under the international law of occupation.
- Israel also purposively frustrates the internationally recognised right of self-determination of the Palestinian people.
- Israel also set a legal system in place amounting in fact to an Apartheid system towards non-Jews.
- The SC failed and refused to act despite these grave breaches of international law.

Therefore, all states have a right to use force against Israel on grounds of humanitarian intervention.

More False Grievances against the West

Mr Blair seems to think that Muslims have a "false" sense of grievance against the West.

Can you imagine if tomorrow, Algerian planes flew over London and bombed Heathrow airport and London Bridge before moving on to BBC. Then over the next few days, these Algerian planes continued to bombard Britain killing over 100 civilians over half of whom were children. Algeria defends itself by stating that since Britain has kidnapped and imprisoned over a dozen of its nationals without charge, it has the right to act in self-defence. What the hell would the West think if the Muslim world reacted by condemning retaliatory strikes by Britain on Algeria and arguing that Algeria had the right to self-defence?

Truly the signs of the Dajjal are here where Haqq is shown as Baatil and Baatil is shown as Haqq; the UN Security Council today voted unanimously to impose sanctions on North Korea for test firing a missile - the same UN Security Council which refuses to censure Israel for test-firing missiles on civilian populations in Gaza and Lebanon, murdering hundreds of civilians.

These people only speak one language - its time for us to master it.

Hizbullah Opens Up New Front

Allahu Akbar - Hizbullah has come to the rescue of our Palestinian brothers and sisters killing 8 Zionist soldiers and capturing 2. The action will serve as some relief for the Palestinians as troops are diverted North. It will also boost the morale of the Palestinians, who just today lost 23 more people, including 7 children, at the hands of the Zionist terrorists.

Israel must be scared though - they value a single soldier more than anything else and to lose 10 in one go will serve as a big shock to them. Yes we suffer but at least our dead will go to jannah insha'Allah, there final abode is the Hellfire.

May they burn for eternity.

God Save the Deen

God Save the Deen

Fahad Ansari
10 July 2006

Just over ten years ago, British Muslims flooded into Bosnia to assist the local Muslim population fight for their survival against the Serbs who were carrying out a genocide sanctioned by the silence of a watching world. The jihad brought together Muslims from all walks of life who were simply not prepared to stand by and allow their fellow Muslims to be butchered out of existence. Those who could not travel to fight helped in other ways such as fund-raising, public awareness events and demonstrations. This collective effort by British Muslims was only part of the global Muslim effort to protect the Bosnian Muslims which was instrumental in ending the genocide. Western intervention came very late and only after it was apparent that that the Bosnian Muslims were gaining the upper hand. Former US President Bill Clinton himself writes in his autobiography that it was only the fear of the establishment of an Islamic state in the heart of Europe which prompted Western intervention.

Just over a decade on, the plight of Muslims has escalated on a monumental scale. On an international level, Muslims continue to be subjected to barbaric oppression in places like Chechnya and Kashmir. Palestine has entered her 59th year of occupation. Afghanistan and Iraq have joined her. Tens of thousands of innocent Muslims continue to languish without charge in Guantanamo Bay, Bagram airbase, Abu Ghraib, Diego Garcia and ghost prisons throughout the world. Not much change then in terms of the nature of the threat we face.

What has changed however is the attitude of Muslims in the West.

Since the events of 9-11, there has been a relentless campaign launched to reform Islam to transform it into something more palatable to Western society. The vision is a secular and cultural Islam at peace with the world through her submission to her oppressors rather than to Allah; an Islam devoid of jihad, shari’ah and khilafah – the very things we are commanded by Allah to implement in order to establish Allah’s deen on this earth. Detailed studies such as that of the RAND Corporation in the US outline the means towards achieving this goal. A 2003 report by RAND entitled Civil Democratic Islam categorises Muslims into four categories: fundamentalists, traditionalists, modernists and secularists. Its recommendations include

- financially supporting and promoting the modernists and their viewpoints
- supporting the traditionalists against the fundamentalists
- promoting Sufism
- challenging the fundamentalists’ interpretation of Islam, revealing their links to jihad groups, demonstrating their inability to rule, portraying them as terrorists and encouraging journalists to dig up dirt on them
- encouraging division among the fundamentalists
- selectively supporting the secularists and discouraging the secularist alliance with anti-US forces on such grounds as nationalism and leftist ideology

A joint Home Office and Foreign Office document from 2004, Young Muslims and Extremism, indicated that a similar strategy was at play in Britain. Codenamed ‘Operation Contest’, the document speaks of measures through which government endorsements could be used to promote certain elements within the Muslim community such as supporting “moderate” Islamic media outlets, promoting Muslim organisations, individuals and forums that are seen as government friendly, and encouraging “moderate” Muslims to challenge the “extremists”.

One is not surprised by such intricate plots by our enemies. They have been taking place in vain for over 1400 years. The sheep should not look to the wolf for protection. What is more concerning is the change in attitude of the shephards of the Ummah, those entrusted with our guidance and protection, our own Muslim leaders and imams. It seems that the events of 9-11, and more recently 7-7, have paralysed these people and forced them to implement the RAND and Operation Contest recommendations in record time. The very groups and individuals named in the latter document are those we see today at the forefront of this attempt to reform Islam.

Individuals who for years rallied the masses to stand up for justice and support mujahideen groups around the world have suddenly not only become embarrassingly silent but have found themselves condemning armed jihad, portraying mujahideen as terrorists and extremists who follow a distorted version of Islam. Our greatest error has been our silence while the world and these individuals have equated martyrdom operations in Palestine and other occupied lands with acts of terrorism in London, operations which are completely different in nature; one is legitimate resistance against a brutal military occupation, the latter is blatant terrorism. Equating the two only betrays our brothers and sisters who have no other option but to fight or face extermination.

Post 7-7 syndrome has also infected imams who themselves took part in violent international jihad in places like Afghanistan against the Soviets and in Kashmir against Indian occupation, and who now call on Muslims to abandon this noble path and to focus instead on integration. The illness has also spread to popular speakers from Islamic Movements who today criticize Islamist parties and governance by shari’ah and instead promote a reformation within Islam. Even student and youth movements which consistently campaigned for Palestine and Iraq have suddenly lost their tongues in a bid to be seen as “moderate”.

Much of this has occurred in the context of the Radical Middle Way Project, a speakers tour funded by the Foreign Office through the Home Office with the objective of fighting extremism or in other words, pacifying Muslims. One example of how this Project is being used to turn people away from struggling for justice will suffice. A few months ago, a sister I know, who is very active in campaigning against injustices at home and abroad, was bought tickets by her friends to attend three lectures by a leading speaker of the Radical Middle Way Project. Her friend told her they believed she was becoming too “extreme”. I would describe this sister as many things – active, passionate, radical – but extreme, hardly. If it’s because of her belief in jihad, shari’ah and khilafah that she is extreme, then the vast majority of Muslims are extremists, and I will proudly add my name to that list.

Shockingly, while the government has repeatedly harped on about the need for British Imams, it is funding this roadshow of scholars flown in from places as diverse as US, Canada, Yemen and Mauritania. One should not question the intention of the scholars themselves but it does seem that they have allowed themselves to become pawns of the government, being manipulated by it to complete its agenda. The roadshow has served as a platform to bash so-called Wahhabi groups in the most cynical manner, as we begin to divide ourselves even more upon the lines our enemies have drawn for us. In doing so, these speakers ironically take on the very characteristics they so vehemently attack.

Running alongside all this has been the pop-nasheed culture, which sister Yvonne Ridley has already spoken volumes about so I will not delve too deeply. Suffice it to say that the culture is symbolic of the inferiority complex we suffer, wishing to be more Roman than the Romans themselves, entertaining ourselves for the sake of entertainment. The end result of all this has been a dilution of the deen of Allah, a weak and pacified Islam willing to accept the status quo in which Muslims are oppressed and subjugated; an Islam in which Muslims are content to sing and sway the night away to nasheeds, to concentrate on bettering their life in the West and to condemn the actions of their brothers and sisters who courageously resist occupation and oppression with whatever they have. Even making dua for them now has become a crime – how long before we are told by our imams not to even pray for the mujahideen?

One of the greatest military general the world has known, Salahudeen Ayubi, the liberator of al-Quds, was once asked why he didn’t smile. He answered back that how could he smile while knowing that Masjid al-Aqsa, remained under Crusader occupation. How far removed are we from this attitude today. England’s performance in the World Cup and David Beckham’s resignation draw more tears from our eyes than the daily butchering of our brothers and sisters. Had this attitude been present 10 years ago, Bosnia and its people would have been completely exterminated.

In all this darkness, there is a bright light. For you see, one of the characteristics of Islam is that the more you push it down, the higher it rises. Muslims in Britain are now being stopped and searched, raided, arrested and humiliated and shot in a fraction of the manner their brothers and sisters around the world are treated. This has developed a real sense of empathy with the plight of the Ummah. A rapidly increasing number of Muslim youth are now realising that no matter how hard they compromise their deen to blend in with the wider society, when things go sour, they will be treated with suspicion. This is not scaremongering but realism. The more the government condemns concepts of shari’ah, khilafah and jihad, the more Muslims are willing to dedicate their lives to establishing these things. The more Muslims are arrested, the more Muslims align themselves with the terror suspects. A recent Times poll stated that the percentage equivalent of 400,000 Muslims in Britain supported violent jihad around the world. One can only attribute this surprisingly low percentage to a fear of being labeled “extremist”. It must be understood that this violent jihad is something noble, a just war against injustice and tyranny, of no threat whatsoever to British society and something not only justified but encouraged by international law. Violent jihad in Palestine, Iraq, Chechnya, Kashmir and elsewhere is not equivalent to the events of 7-7 which have been absolutely condemned by all.

As an antidote to post-7-7 syndrome, British Muslims themselves organized their own roadshow (Roles and Responsibilities of Muslims in Britain) earlier this year in which scholars, community leaders and activists who have grassroots support in their communities spoke. This wasn’t about foreign imams telling British Muslims how to behave in Britain; this was about British imams, born, raised and resident in this country, speaking to British Muslims. Despite the record turn-outs for the tour, no support or even sign of recognition was forthcoming from the government as in addition to condemning terrorism, Muslims were told not to forget about Palestine, to continue to be active and to stand up for justice, irrespective of the consequences. The masses heard the message and are sure to spread it.

Slowly but steadily, more and more Muslims are waking up with the realisation that it is not terrorism or extremism that is being targeted but Islam itself. Our enemies will continue to attempt to divide us and to reform Islam as they have done throughout the centuries. But we must always bear in mind our Lord’s words that “they plot, but Allah also plotteth; and Allah is the best of plotters” (Surah al-Anfal; 30)

God save the Deen.

Shamil is Blessed with Shahaada (Insha'Allah)

Allahu Akbar!!

Abdallah Shamil Abu-Idris, Vice President of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, Amir of the Riyadus Salihin Brigade has become shaheed insha'Allah. A hero to the Chechen people and indeed the entire Muslim world, Shamil died as a result of an accidental spontaneous explosion of a truck, loaded with explosives on July 10 2006 in the region of the village Ekazhevo in Ingushetia. Three other Mujahideen became Shaheeds (insha Allah) together with him.

Many people, including Muslims unfortunately, have been quick to condemn Shamil for some of his operations. If only these people were as hasty to condemn the Russians who carry out far more brutal operations on the Chechens on a daily basis. If only they knew that in 1995, a Russian bomb was dropped on Shamil's home killing 11 members of his immediate and extended family including his wife and children. If only they knew that it is people like Shamil who raise the dignity of our Ummah and who will insha'Allah gain the pleasure of Allah for their work, for protecting our sisters and mothers while all we have done is sit and home and condemn.

Although there are numerous examples of Shamil's courage and selflessness, I wish to mention just one which sums his character up. In the retreat from Grozny in 2000, the Chechens were bringing back some Russian soldiers to base and came across a field full of landmines. Now, standard military practice is to send the prisoners across first in order to create a safe passage for the army. After taking shura with his troops, Shamil decided such a move was not Islamically correct as prisoners were to be treated with the utmost kindness. He then ordered the Chechen soldiers to cross the field to allow the Russian prisoners safe passage and he was the first to go across. It was during this crossing that he lost one of his feet. So overwhelmed were some of the Russians by what they saw that they embraced Islam.

Where can such compassion be found today in any battlefield in the world??

May Allah have mercy on his soul, grant him the status of shaheed and guide us to follow this noble path to jannah.

Your Last Chance

Your Last Chance

By Abuz-Zubair
5th July 2006

Have you ever wondered that if you were born in 7th Century Makkah, and you heard of a man claiming to have received the Message of God, would you have been amongst those first followers and faced the wrath of the Makkan opposition? Or would you have remained silent, not taking either side, only to be eventually forced out of your home?

What if you were given the chance to live in Madina before the Prophet’s arrival? Would you have, upon his arrival, joined his religion and pledged allegiance to stick with him through thick and the thin? Or would you rather have felt safer with the likes of Ibn Salul, the leader of the hypocrites who guaranteed his followers safety and security?

The question boils down to: Do we have what it takes to do what our conscience tells us to? Or do we lack determination and does the love of an easy life make us cling to our comfortable homes and careers?

Every soul is given an opportunity in this life to prove itself. Some are truthful to their Lord; those who would risk their own lives, careers and families in the defence of truth and justice. Others too are given the same opportunities, yet they fall at each hurdle, remaining heartless towards injustices committed right under their noses.

The early generation of Muslims had their chance, which they passed with flying colours. Many of them endured indescribable hardships, pains and loss of friends and relatives- much worse than what some Muslims might be enduring in Britain. Some did not even live long enough to see the fragile Muslim community experience a moment of peace and security, for they were killed in the very early stages. Others were ordered to flee from Makkah and claim political asylum in Abyssinia, and even there, they had to face an extradition request by the Makkans.

Most of the inhabitants of Makkah, however, lost their golden chance, and toed the line of oppression and injustice. For them, their worldly gains were the focal point of their lives and their losses too great to bear, for they had nothing to look forward to in the afterlife. They failed to realise that they themselves were eventually going to become the fuel for the Makkan ‘War on Terror’ against the so-called ‘terrorists’ in Madina, and hence, many of them were killed in the subsequent battles.

Babar Ahmad was born 1400 years after the Arabian revolution, yet he, like thousands of British Muslims, was inspired by that revolution. Babar Ahmad was also given the same opportunity, when his door was smashed down in December 2003, and he was forced to prostrate and taunted with words that have now became the slogan with which the British Anti-Terrorist police is remembered amongst Muslims: ‘Where is your God now?!’ Babar Ahmad did not miss this chance and succumb to fear. Rather, he was determined that this episode must not be repeated with any other Muslim thereafter, and hence the Stop Political Terror Campaign gained momentum throughout the country. Surely, Allah only tests those who are worthy, and hence, just days before our hero was due to deliver his lecture on our ever-eroding civil liberties, he was kidnapped by the Anti-Terrorist police on an extradition warrant by their US masters, to be dispatched like a slave in chains.

Babar Ahmad had already received his blows at the hands of the Anti-Terrorist thugs and later released without charge. He only stood up to protect the forgotten, and to make sure we do not endure what he had to. As he awaits his extradition, he has made clear to his supporters, that even after he is gone, the struggle to repeal the unjust Extradition Treaty 2003 must continue with more vigour, such that no other Muslim is sold into slavery to the Americans again. He continues to reiterate that if once the first Muslim is extradited, many more Muslims most definitely will be next.

The forthcoming demonstration outside the High Court on Tuesday, the 11th of July 2006, comes as what may be the last chance for British Muslims to clear their conscience and prove their faith and support for their brother. If he loses this appeal it may only be a matter of weeks before he is put on the plane to the U.S.

Allah created tests so that He may distinguish the true from the false. It is not only Babar Ahmad or his family who have been tested in the past three years – we are all part of this test.

How many of us had the chance to write to our MP’s about our brother, but did not?
How many of us knew of the demonstrations held outside the court but failed to attend?
How many of us were too afraid to offer words of support and encouragement to our brother and his family?

Do we not know the words of the Prophet SallAllahu Alaihi wa-sallam: “No one abandons a believer, except that Allah abandons him”?

Now comes our final opportunity – are we going to be amongst those who stood up and were true to their claim of La ilaha illa Allah, or will we be amongst the false ones? Will the fears of brother Rachid Ramda, forgotten as he was losing his extradition battle to France, be realised when he said to Babar Ahmad “I really hope they (the Muslims of Britain) do not let you down in the same way that they let me down…”

We might not be able to prevent Babar Ahmad being snatched away from his loving family, but we can make this demonstration a memorable event in the history of British Muslims. The pens have been lifted and the ink has dried. He may not be in need of our demonstration, but it is our souls that are in greater need of it; Perhaps our standing for a few hours outside the High Court on 11th July will come as an excuse for us on a day when our standing will be like a thousand years, when we will be asked: What did we do for our brother?

Your last chance is here. The question is: are you going to seize it?

A Year On: Blair Still in Denial

“What you have witnessed now is only the beginning of a string of attacks that will continue and become stronger until you pull your forces out of Afghanistan and Iraq and until you stop your financial and military support to America and Israel”

“To the non-Muslims of Britain, you may have wondered what you have done to deserve this. You are those who have voted in your government, who have in turn and still continue to this day continue to oppress our mothers, children, brothers and sisters from the east to the west in Palestine, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Chechnya. Your government has openly supported the genocide of over 150,000 innocent Muslims in Fallujah”

Surely an independent public inquiry is absolutely vital if we are serious about preventing another 7-7 from occurring. Blair's refusal to accept that British foreign policy had anything to do with the attacks is getting tiresome.

Tanweer's justification for targeting civilians is interesting - punishing a people for voting in a government. Now where have we heard that before?

Hasn't the world, Britain included, imposed economic sanctions on the Palestinian people for voting in Hamas?

Hasn't the international community, Britain included, colluding in the daily Israeli slaughter of Palestinian civilians, the destruction of civilian infrastructures and the kidnapping of elected Palestinian MPs and ministers, all because they had the audacity to exercise democracy?

Didn't Britain itself yesterday vote against a resolution deploring Israel's military operations in Palestinian territories as a breach of international humanitarian law?

So when Shehzad Tanweer sees that the leader of his country consistently adopts a "end justifies the means" policy and condones the slaughter of civilians for voting in a government deemed hostile to his interests, then why does it come as any surprise that he himself should feel that such a policy is justifiable?

Wake up Mr Blair, you are leading your country to destruction.

Whats going on? Anyone got a clue?

The Face of an Al-Qaeda Leader?

According to a lawyer in Eqypt, his client Abu Hamza Al-Muhajir is in an Egyptian prison and has been for the past 7 years!!!

The BBC claim that independant verification is impossible.

So, is this an example of lazy US intelligence 'copying and pasting' from 'Jihadi' websites ony when it suits them, or a deliberate attempt to disseminate false information.

They most certainly have something to gain by remaining in Iraq, and only way they can do that is by making sure that there is a continuous flow of Muslim blood.

Denying the Undeniable

Tony Blair made a number of ridiculous statements today, the implication being that Muslims are in denial about the threat coming from our community. Ironically, it is this man and his government who are in denial of the fact that their policies were the prime reasons for the bombings and that for Muslims, the threat comes from the West who continues to carry out a brutal barbaric war against Islam in all parts of the world

"If we want to defeat the extremism, we have got to defeat its ideas and we have got to address the completely false sense of grievance against the West."

It may be more beneficial to quit being in denial of the fact that the West is at war with Islam and Muslims. The governemnt knows it and the Muslims know it. The crazy thing about war though Tony is that you run the risk of suffering reprisals every now and again.

"In the end, government itself cannot go and root out the extremism in these communities. "

So why then are 250 plus officers being sent in to the homes of innocent Muslims in the middle of the night to root out and shoot "extremists"?

Today's statements really expose the fact that the government taskforce on extremism set up post 7-7 was really nothing more than a PR stunt. Calling in 100 Muslims consisting of self-appointed leaders, MPs, Peers and millionaires is no way to try and engage with the grassroots. The government never had any intention to solve the problem, only to pursue an agenda aimed at destroying the concept of jihad in the minds of Muslims. This was blatantly the motivation behind the scholars roadshow or the 'Radical Middle Way Project'.

For years we have had the issue of British imams rammed down our throat, that foreign imams are to blame for extremism and terrorism. So what does the government do - it doesnt engage a single British Imam to participate in the roadshow - all the speakers were flown in by the Foreign Office (is this not a domestic issue?) from USA, Yemen, Morocco and elsewhere to preach a message of pacification. When British Muslims decided to organise their own scholars tour on "Roles and Responsibilities' in which the vast majority of the speakers and imams were British-born and raised, they received no attention whatsoever. Why? Because while these speakers condemned the London bombings, they also spoke of the duty of Muslims to resist injustice and oppression and to support the mujahideen around the world, to refuse to be treated like second-class citizens and to always speak the truth. This message is one that resonated with the majority of Muslims at the grassroots level. The Government needs to wake up - most of us support "violent jihad" around the world and will continue to do so for when one faces extermination, he will do everything that is in his power to survive. Be warned.

British Muslim Terrorist Killed in Afghanistan

Last Saturday, a British Muslim Jabron Hashmi was killed in fighting in Afghanistan. The 24-year old youth from Birmingham travelled to the region after joining a British terrorist organisation called 'the UK Armed Forces. ' UKAF has been responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of innocent civilians in terrorist operations throughout the world, most recently in Afghanistan and Iraq. Hashmi's death is significant in that it will serve as a warning to any other Muslims wishing to join UKAF that they will be treated as any other UKAF terrorist.

You only die once so make that death for the sake of Allah.

The Rape of Iraq Continues

Many Muslims sat glued to their TV screens over the weekend watching England crash out of the World Cup, som even shed tears following David Beckham's emotional resignation as captain. Meanwhile, a young Muslim sister was brutally raped and murdered in her own home by ten US soldiers in Iraq. Nobody even batted an eyelid. What has not been reported in the mainstream media is that the girl raped was only 13 years old.

That this has happened on numerous occasions before in Iraq and continues to happen in prisons run by the US military makes it understandable why Zarqawi and other militants have repeatedly called for the release of female prisoners in exhange for captives they have taken.
And Tony Blair has the audacity to claim that our grievances against the West are "false".
